Chinese myth of creation

The heavens and earth were one and all was chaos. The universe was like a hugeblack egg, which had ren inside to Pan Gu. After 18,000 years Pan Gu woke froma long sleep. He felt suffocated, which wielded a huge ax and used it to open theegg. The light, the clear, rose and formed heaven, cold and turbid matter stayedbelow to form earth.

Pan Gu stood in the middle, with his head touching the sky and down to earth. The earth and the sky began to grow at a rate of ten feet a day, and Pan Gu grew upwith them. After another 18,000 years, the sky was bigger and thicker earth, Pan Gu stood between them like a giant pillar, preventing them to return to be united.PP'an-Ku died and parts of his body, became elements of our world. His breathbecame the wind and clouds, his voice became the thunder. From his body, one eye became the sun and the other on the moon. Your body and its members became five big mountains and his blood formed the water. His veins became long stretch roads and his muscles into fertile fields. The endless stars in the sky appeared of his hair and beard, and flowers and trees areformed from the skin and fine hair on his body. His marrow turned into jade andpearls. His sweat flowed like the generous rain and sweet dew that nourishes allliving things on earth.
